Fudo Falls and Lacquer Painting Experience
Located about 30 minutes by car from the hotel, this special tour allows you to enjoy both “Fudo Falls,” selected as one of Japan’s Top 100 Waterfalls, and “Ashiro Lacquerware,” a traditional craft that Hachimantai is proud of.
After a stroll around the negative-ion-rich Fudo Falls, try your hand at lacquer painting on chopsticks at the Ashiro Lacquerware Studio.
Under the guidance of a craftsman, you will create your own unique, one-of-a-kind original work.
This is a unique Hachimantai experience tour where you can fully enjoy the charms of nature, culture, and craftsmanship in half a day.
