Private Snowshoe Guide

This is a completely private snowshoe tour where the destination and itinerary are customized according to your fitness and needs.
We will propose a route from a quiet forest walk in the Appi area to a treeline in the Hachimantai area, discussing the itinerary with the guide in advance.
Take the time to enjoy the nature of Hachimantai in winter.
We can provide one-day trekking tours with snowshoes starting from the Appi Kogen Plateau, Hachimantai Juhyo tours, and more.

Duration

Half-day course: any time between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM
One-day course: any time between 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Itinerary

The guide will meet and communicate with the customer to create a schedule and itinerary according to the customer’s wishes.

Pricing

Fees vary depending on the destination.
Half-day course: ¥8,000 per person; Foreign language interpreter required: ¥12,000 per person
One-day course ¥13,000 per person; Those who need a foreign language interpreter ¥17,000 per person
Please understand that the regular fee is different for those who need an interpreter because an interpreter (English or Chinese) will accompany the tour.
Fee includes
Half-day course/insurance, lift ticket/gondola fee
One-day course/insurance and pickup and drop-off at the starting point of the tour

Snowshoe Adventure at the Gondola Summit with a Guide

Ride the APPI Gondola for a snowshoeing walk at the top of Mt. Maemori.
Enjoy with your guide the unique nature experiences of the summit, such as the world of fog and ice, the spectacular view of Mount Iwate and Hachimantai from the top of Maemori, the thrilling sledding experience, and a drink break under the Oshirabiso tree.

Guided Forest Exploration Snowshoe Lift Tour

Ride the quad lift and enjoy a 1.5 km snowshoe walk through the forest back to the hotel. Your guide will lead you on a fun-filled tour, playing with snow and explaining about nature.
