Dog Park

In the outdoor areas of Appi Kogen, you can enjoy time with your dog as long as it’s on a leash. However, at the “Dog Park” in APPI Forest, you can let your dog off the leash and play together to your heart’s content.

APPI 1304 Gondola Cruise

The gondola ride takes about 15 minutes. From the gondola summit station, follow the promenade to the summit of Mt.Maemori, which is 1,304m above sea level.
From the summit you can enjoy a magnificent spring panorama of the secondary beech forest below, as well as Mt. Iwate, Mt. Hachimantai, Mt. Nanashigure, and Mt. Himekami.
