Hachimantai Snow Corridor Tour

You will travel by car from the hotel through the Hachimantai Aspite Line’s Snow Corridor and enjoy a walk around the summit area of Mt. Hachimantai, one of Japan’s 100 Famous Mountains.
Enjoy the scenery that can only be seen during this time of year when there is snow.
On clear days, you can enjoy views of Mt. Iwate as well as distant mountain ranges.

Itinerary

9：00 Depart from ANA Crowne Plaza Resort Appi Kogen → 10：00 Arrive at Hachimantai summit parking lot → Walk along the lower and upper sides of the snow corridor. (There will be time for shopping at the summit rest house) → 11：00 Depart from Hachimantai summit parking lot → 12：00 Arrive at hotel

Children under elementary school age can join free of charge when accompanied by a guardian.

Please make a web reservation by 5:00 PM, 2 days prior to the event.

Rain gear, sunglasses, gloves, hat, warm clothes
*Please avoid wearing leather shoes or other footwear that can be slippery, as you will need to walk on snow for a short distance.
*At this time of year, temperatures around the summit can drop close to 0°C on colder days.

APPI 1304 Gondola Cruise (Golden Week)

The gondola ride takes about 15 minutes. From the gondola summit station, follow the promenade to the summit of Mt.Maemori, which is 1,304m above sea level.
