November Casual Nature Guide

Enjoy a 1.5 km walk through the forest behind the hotel as a guide shares fun activities and insights about the natural surroundings.
The autumn forest is full of charms, including nuts, mushrooms, and colorful foliage.
In November, you can enjoy the late autumn scenery with fallen leaves and the yellowing needles of the larch trees.

Itinerary

Please arrive at APPI Explore inside the ANA Crowne Plaza Resort Appi Kogen by 8:50 AM.
After registration, the tour will depart from the hotel at 9:00 AM, and a guide will lead you through the surrounding forest.

Pricing

Junior high school students and older: 1,500 yen | Elementary school students: 1,000 yen
Preschoolers: Free (must be accompanied by a guardian)

Equipment & Items

Comfortable walking shoes (such as sneakers), long sleeves, long pants, and a hat

Remarks

*The nature guide is conducted in Japanese only.
*Strollers and wheelchairs cannot be used as the path is unpaved.
*Children of elementary school age and younger must be accompanied by a guardian.

APPI 1304 Gondola Cruise (Golden Week)

The gondola ride takes about 15 minutes. From the gondola summit station, follow the promenade to the summit of Mt.Maemori, which is 1,304m above sea level.
From the summit you can enjoy a magnificent spring panorama of the secondary beech forest below, as well as Mt. Iwate, Mt. Hachimantai, Mt. Nanashigure, and Mt. Himekami.
And sometimes you can see a fantastic sea of clouds.
