Parcel Delivery to Appi Kogen
You can send suitcases, ski and snowboard equipment and other items to Appi Kogen before you arrive.
Please collect your parcel within 7 days.
- Parcels are held free for 7 days after the delivery date.
- After that, JPY2,000 (tax included) per item applies for each week or part of a week.
- Parcels still uncollected 90 days after the delivery date are treated as abandoned and may be handled in the same way as stored items.

How to send a parcel
1. Choose where to send it. Pick one of the three destinations above.
2. Arrange the delivery. Book through Sagawa Express or any courier you prefer.

Need somewhere to keep your luggage for a few days or longer? APPI Storage holds suitcases, ski and snowboard sets and boxes at two resort hotels:

How it works
1. Apply online.
After you submit the form you receive a Booking ID. Keep it, and a screenshot of the confirmation, for drop-off and pickup.
2. Drop off at the Bell Desk.
Show your Booking ID. Hours: 24 hours.
3. Collect and pay.
Show your Booking ID at the Bell Desk and pay at hotel front desk. Someone else can collect for you if they can show your Booking ID, your name and your contact details.
What we accept
Please check size, weight and packing before you come. Each suitcase, each ski/snowboard set and each box counts as one item.

We may measure, weigh and look at your item, and may decline items that don’t meet these conditions. We do not open locked or sealed items.
What we cannot accept
This also applies to everything inside your bags. Please take valuables with you and remove anything below before you drop off.
- Items owned by someone else, unless the owner has given you the right to store and dispose of them
- Rare items that are hard or impossible to replace
- Cash, securities, bankbooks, stamps, certificates, important documents, ID, personal seals, credit and cash cards, and similar items
- Valuables such as precious metals, art, antiques, jewelry, crafts, fur and kimono
- Fragile items such as precision instruments, glassware, ceramics and household Buddhist altars
- Items that give off magnetism or may affect other items
- Flammables such as kerosene, gasoline, gas canisters, matches, lighters and paint
- Hazardous substances such as agricultural chemicals, poisons, explosives, chemicals and radioactive materials
- Plants (including seeds and seedlings), animals, and anything that needs special care
- Water, alcohol, perishable food and other food that can’t be stored safely
- Items that smell, or may smell, unpleasant
- Waste of any kind
- Items prohibited by law, or contrary to public order and morals
Fees
All prices are per item, in Japanese yen, tax included. A part of a week counts as a full week.

- Our front desk checks your reservation in the hotel system when you pay. Without a confirmed upcoming reservation, the normal fee applies from day 1.
- Example: 1 suitcase for 10 days with an upcoming reservation costs JPY2,000 (first 7 days free, 1 extra week). Without a reservation it costs JPY4,000.
- Need more time? Extend at the front desk before your storage end date, at the rate that applies then.
- Cancelling: free any time before you hand over your items. There is no refund if you collect early, and no charge if you don’t show up.
Late collection and unclaimed items
Please collect your items by your storage end date.
- If you collect after the end date, JPY2,000 per item applies for each week or part of a week, for up to 90 days.
- We send reminders before and after the end date to the contact details you gave when applying. Please keep them up to date.
- If your items are still here 90 days after the end date, we treat them as abandoned and the fee stops. After trying to contact you, we may dispose of them. Unpaid fees that remain are still payable.
