GW APPI Family Fiesta
Outline of the event

■ Dates: May 1 (Fri)–May 6 (Wed, holiday), 2026

■ Venue: APPI Plaza, APPI Resort Center, and the Event Garden in front of the APPI Resort Center

■ Admission tickets:
● Iwate Job Experience Festival in APPI: Ticket… ¥1,800 per person (for children)
● Activity coupons usable for activities within the event, etc.… ¥500 each
Coupons will be sold on the day of the event. (Buy a set of 10 and get 1 free.)
※ Each activity costs ¥500 per session, or in ¥500 increments.
※ Not valid for gondola sightseeing rides.
■ Ticket sales location: Special counter in front of the APPI Plaza Hall

Iwate Job Experience Festival in APPI

Try your hand at all kinds of jobs at Appi Kogen—from dream jobs to ones you’ve never heard of!

Festival Game Booths

Gondola Sightseeing Ride

Ride the APPI Gondola to the summit of Maemoriyama, where snow still remains! Enjoy breathtaking views you can only see at this time of year!

■ Hours: 8:30–14:45 (last uphill) *Last downhill: 15:45
■ Round-trip fare: Junior high school and older ¥2,200; elementary school and younger free; pets (dogs/cats) ¥1,100
■ Ticket purchase location: APPI Resort Center Ticket Desk
■ Note: Not available for those skiing or snowboarding. Please purchase a 1-day lift pass.

Summit Sledding Area

A sledding area is now open at the summit of Maemoriyama! Enjoy sledding with the whole family!

■ Dates: May 1 (Fri)–May 6 (Wed, holiday), 2026
■ Hours: 9:00–15:30 (rental ends at 14:30)
■ Fees: Area use is free; sled rental ¥1,000 per use; Snow Racer rental ¥2,000 per use
■ Sled rental location: Special counter inside the Summit Café
■ Note: A lift ticket valid for the day or a gondola sightseeing ticket is required to access the summit.
〇 Sled rentals can be paid for with activity coupons.

Inflatable Play Area

During the event, inflatable play equipment that kids love will also be available!

■ Location: In front of the Appi Gondola boarding area

Dinosaur Car

A big hit with kids! Have fun with the Dinosaur Car♪

Snow Vehicle Display

We will display rotary snowplows and snow-removal dozers that play a big role on snow—vehicles you don’t usually get to see up close.
