We have Private Lessons of Ski & Snowboard instructors speaking English. We will coordinate lessons for your needs.

Advanced reservation is until 5:00pm of the day before arrival. We will accept students when we have an open spot. |
Please make reservation beforehand. We have the limited numbers of instructors speaking English. Please understand we may not be able to provide English lessons due to students' number.
APPI Ski & Snowboard School
Our school' s teaching method is based on Austria National Ski School. We offer different lessons for different needs based on our motto of "Newly, Pleasantly, and Scientifically".
Our experienced instructors will enhance your riding techniques and great feeling with skiing and snowboarding.
President : Eiichi Kodama
Certified Austria National Ski Instructor / Alpine Ski Trainer / Snow Mountain Guide, Professional Ski Instructor of America Certified Ski Instructor, technical member of World Ski Instructor Federation, international chairman of Ski Instructor Association of Japan. He has been focusing on delivering the fascination of the snow sports to many people through his ski lessons since 1985 when ski school was established.From Nagano, Japan.
Vice President : Tateru Takehana
One of famous skiers representing Iwate, qualified as SAJ National Demonstrator for 7 consecutive years. His history has been very bright since now and then. He won the first place of Ski Racing on 2008 Nagano Kagayaki National Athletic Meet. He has been teaching at this school from 4 years ago. His lessons are very popular and fun.
SIA President:
Fumiaki Saito
Former SIA Demonstrator, SIA Stage 3. His all season lifestyle is based on outdoor activities. He can answer any questions about tour skiing and powder tour. From Iwate, also he presides at APPI Nature School.
SAJ President :
Mamoru Hatakeyama
Former racer from Iwate, he has also shining abilities on basic skill skiing, His friendliness and detailed teaching is talented. Block technical member of National Ski Association. SAJ certified ski instructor.
JSBA President :
Koji Takahashi
He has been teaching at APPI for 7 years. He is trying APPI to be Snowboarding Mecca. JSBA certified Class A Instructor. From Iwate.
