Our course layout is based on long distance runs, and is very rare in Japan. Also, it is similar to world's famous mountains in Europe and America. It is one of our outstanding appealing points in APPI.
- The area of whole terrain is 282 Hectare (Almost half area of Yamanote belt line in Tokyo)
- The total distance of runs is 45.1Km long. The average run distance is 2.1Km (This is No.1 is Japan)
- 2.3Km long run during nighttime business hour is No.2 in Tohoku area.
- Our lifts' transporting capacity is 23,230 people per hour. (It is the most in Japan as single ski resort.)
- The number of people our lifts transported during 2007-2008 season is 2554,000. (It is No.1 in Tohoku area. * This is different from the number of admission.)
- The number of hotel rooms is 1,009 that can hold about 4,000 people.
282 Hectare of the total terrain area and 45.1Km of the total runs distance are more than twice size compared to average ski areas in Japan.
Even early season when we partially open, we have more distance of runs than top season's distance of other resorts. Also, we proudly have 2 gondolas and 16 lifts that can transport 23,230 people per hour, and its capacity prevents visitors from over-waiting on line. It helps visitors enjoy more runs comfortably.
The average distance of 2.1Km on 21 runs is No.1 in Japan.

12 out of all 21 runs are longer than 2,000m and the longest run is 5.5Km. This long run based layout is one of the best in Japan. Also, the radial shape from the top to the bottom provides smooth riding. It is up to world standard.
The guest capacity of APPI's surrounded area including Hotels, Pensions, and local motels is 7,000 people per day.
APPI area has 5 different hotels in 8 buildings by our direct management. Also, there are about 70 pensions and local motels in the close area. It is possible for us to provide necessary needs for different customers. Our most popular Hotel APPI Grand is located in front of ski slopes.
